Covid regulations have changed. Here is the update that we are issuing to all hall users:
Following the Government’s latest announcement, as from 10th December 2021 it is now mandatory to wear a face covering inside Ryhall Village Hall.
This information has been clarified by Halls Together, which is an organisation specifically dealing with village halls and community buildings.
Their information states that all adults are required to wear a mask while in the village hall building. There are exceptions: these being during exercising, and singing as part of a choir or performance. When eating or drinking, masks can be removed.
We also ask hall users to continue sanitising their hands, wiping down the surfaces they have been in contact with (ie door handles, light switches etc) and to maintain a sensible distance from each other. Hall users also must keep the hall well ventilated, especially when strenuous activities are taking place.
We have placed signage up in the hall, but please note that it is the hirer’s responsibility to enforce this rule change and inform those attending their classes / function of these changes.
